I live in Maryland and have raised four amazing humans that inspire me everyday. Now that they are all adults, I have been promoted to Mimi of my grandson, and I am navigating this new chapter of empty nest life.

Well we prefer to call it a Patient Ambassador.  I am a rare Chronic Kidney disease patient (FSGS) so of course I figured out a way to use my patient experience to lead to empowerment.  I partner with NephCure, RKD and and have had the pleasure of being featured as a speaker, panelist and in this article.  There are some features in my blog to help with Kidney health.

Stay InMotion – Movement saved my life. Before my CKD diagnosis, I had to cope with a mental health diagnosis (MDD / CA / PMDD) and the one thing that kept me going was movement…so you know what happened next…yup, I earned over 7 fitness certifications and opened a wellness center -emerge wellness. Although, we closed in 2019, I am still committed to promoting holistic well-being and health.
